Story of you is the first track of my debut EP. With a clever Doo Wop-Indie Pop mix, the song creates a warm, buttery-smooth sound, with an atmosphere that makes people want to waltz with a loved one. Through heartfelt lyrics, a wonderful lovey-dovey feeling is evoked, giving the listener that fuzzy heart and butterflies in the stomach feeling. This track is a beautiful, 1950’s inspired love song – almost in the style of a love letter, as the verses are written in first person, directly to their partner. The title for the EP was derived from this song’s lyrics “ain’t it crazy how my life led up to you?” It's a very genuine song on the EP of when i was in love and it made the EP a reflection on my personal experiences, so the title was as much “To You” the listener, as “To You” myself.
